About TeamDronePro

Local pilot teams. One national standard.

Why We Exist

There is no shortage of people with drones. There is a real shortage of professionals — operators who hold the right certifications, carry real insurance, understand commercial workflows, and deliver usable files on schedule.

Most commercial clients learn this the hard way. They hire an operator who can't get airspace authorization near a major airport, or who delivers imagery in formats their team can't use, or who simply stops answering the phone. Then they start the search over — and if they work in more than one metro, they start it over in every metro.

TeamDronePro exists to be the operator clients can standardize on. Since 2020, we've built local pilot teams that know their own airspace and their own market, and we hold every one of them to the same national standard for certification, insurance, deliverables, and responsiveness. Today we operate in the San Francisco Bay Area and Greater Los Angeles, with more markets planned.

Nothing fancy. Just professional drone work, done the same way, everywhere we operate.

What "One Standard" Means

"Professional" is easy to claim. Here is what it means in practice, in every TeamDronePro market:

FAA Part 107 Certified Pilots

Every pilot who flies for us holds a current FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate. No exceptions, in any market.

Up to $10M Liability Insurance

Coverage up to $10M in liability insurance, with certificates of insurance available on request — one paperwork process, not a new one per vendor.

LAANC Authorization In-House

Controlled airspace near major airports doesn't stall your project. We handle FAA airspace authorizations ourselves, in every market.

Consistent Deliverable Formats

Orthomosaics, point clouds, photos, video, and inspection reports arrive in the same specs and formats regardless of which team flew the job.

24-Hour Response

Calls and emails get answered within one business day. Usually much faster. No ghosting, no chasing your vendor.

Local Teams, Local Knowledge

Pilots based in the markets they fly, who know the airspace, the weather patterns, and the permitting realities on the ground.

How We Work

Reliability over flash

We'd rather be the vendor who shows up on time with usable files than the one with the most impressive marketing. Commercial work is won and kept on follow-through.

Say what we'll do, then do it

Clear scopes, honest timelines, and no surprises on the invoice. If something changes — weather, airspace, site access — you hear it from us first.

Deliverables clients can actually use

We don't sell flights; we deliver data and media that plug into your workflow — construction documentation, survey-grade mapping, listing media, inspection reports. See our services for the full picture.

Compliance is the floor, not a feature

Certification, insurance, and airspace authorization aren't selling points to us — they're the minimum requirement to fly under our name.

Where We Operate

TeamDronePro currently operates local pilot teams in the San Francisco Bay Area and Greater Los Angeles, and we're expanding to additional markets. Browse our locations directory to find your market, or contact us if you need coverage somewhere we haven't listed yet.

Managing projects across multiple metros? Our national accounts program gives you one point of contact and one standard everywhere. And if you're a certified pilot rather than a client, we're always looking for professionals — see Fly With Us.
